Real estate investment professional Paul Salib has taught at the Schack Institute of Real Estate at New York University since 2008. As an assistant adjunct professor, he teaches real estate finance and investment analysis, instructing students on analytical techniques and structure-appropriate financing requirements for income-producing real estate investments and developments. Paul Salib is also the founder and managing partner of Castellan Real Estate Partners, a New York City-based investment firm that manages more than 1,700 apartments and 75,000 square feet of retail space in the New York metro area. He provides oversight to all firm operations and investments, which currently have a market value in excess of $700 million.
Previously Paul Salib spent two years as senior vice president of Red Stone Partners, where he was involved in the acquisition and financing of more than $1 billion in commercial real estate transactions. He also performed valuation analysis, due diligence, and was responsible for closing transactions. Mr. Salib attended Syracuse University, where he earned a BA in finance, and New York University, where he earned a MS in real estate finance and investment.
